Charlie’s Purple Sweet Potato Pie was born in a small kitchen in San Francisco. Our founder, Charlie—a Texas native—discovered the vibrant ube purple sweet potato, a Filipino delicacy, that sparked a delicious idea based on his mother’s Southern sweet potato pie.

What started as just sharing pies with family and friends quickly grew into a local sensation. Charlie’s unique blend of Southern and Filipino-inspired flavor created a pie that’s bold as in color as in taste.

Today, Charlie’s Purple Sweet Potato Pie continues to celebrate community, culture, and the joy of sharing something sweet.

We believe that quality should never be compromised. That's why we use only the finest ingredients, from our purple sweet potato, and fresh spices. We also bake our pies in small batches to ensure that each one is perfect.
